Ashley ChandlerAshley E. Chandler, Director

Ashley E. Chandler is the Deputy Policy Director at that U.S. Global Leadership Coalition, an organization that advocates a smart power approach to elevating diplomacy and development alongside defense in order to build a better, safer world. Previously, Ashley helped Vital Voices Global Partnership launch the Global Ambassadors Program, an innovative development initiative designed to build capacity through mentorship. Prior, she spent almost three years at the Center for Strategic and International Studies, first as a Research Associate and then a Fellow, where she focused on the role of public-private partnerships in post-conflict and humanitarian disaster environments. She has published several reports and articles on both civilian and defense foreign policy programs and is a regular contributor to USGLC's Global Impact Blog. Ashley earned an M.S. in Global Politics from the London School of Economics, M.A. in U.S. History, with a concentration in foreign policy, from George Washington University, and a bachelor's degree from Stanford University. In addition, Ashley studied at the Sorbonne in Paris and was a world ranked swimmer and an official alternate for 1996 U.S. Olympic team.

Anna KuoDr. Anna Kuo, Director

Dr. Kuo completed her BS in Biology at Yale University in 1985, her MD at Emory University School of Medicine in 1989, and her residency and chief residency in pediatrics at the University of Maryland in 1993. From 1993-2000 she was assistant professor of pediatrics with Emory University School of Medicine. Dr. Kuo was board certified in 1993 and joined Peachtree Park Pediatrics in 2000. Dr. Kuo is an approved Practitioner with MAP International, which allows League of Hope to obtain pharmaceuticals for needy health clinics in Haiti. She lives in Atlanta with her husband, Terry Feng, and children Alayna, Tyler and Kayla.

 

Randy BassettW. Randall Bassett (Randy), Director

Randy Bassett is a partner with King & Spalding's Product Liability Practice where he has over 15 years experience representing foreign and domestic manufacturers in high exposure product liability cases. He has argued cases in the federal circuit court of appeals for the Fourth, Sixth, and Eleventh Circuits, and has appeared in the appellate courts of Alabama, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, and Tennessee. Randy received his J.D., cum laude at the University of Georgia and a Bachelor of Science at The Citadel. Randy is very active in the philanthropic arm of King & Spalding and assists League of Hope with legal and tax issues.
